Angela is from central Illinois but moved to Wisconsin to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Music.
Throughout college, Angela was an active member of Panther Catholic, an apostolate of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the Catholic student organization at UWM. The Panther Catholic Newman Center was blessed to have Brew City Catholic Missionaries, young adults called to serve and walk with college students as they learn to know, love, and serve the Lord. It was there at Newman where Angela not only encountered Christ but where she also met her future husband! She thanks the Newman community and the Brew City Catholic missionaries for showing her how joyful it is to live your life for God. Angela also spent two summers in college as a Core Team Missionary for Love Begins Here in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
After graduation, Angela sought out to become a Brew City Catholic missionary herself, longing to walk with college students the same way others had done for her. For two years, she served at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with Warhawk Catholic, with her second year taking on the position of Missionary Team Lead.
Angela and her husband Aaron were engaged in October 2022 and were married in Milwaukee on October 7, 2023 on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. They currently live in Middleton and are expecting to welcome their first child in 2025.
Towards the end of her missionary work, Angela felt a call towards education, with teaching being a profession she has always desired to pursue. She is immensely excited to have the opportunity to connect the Catholic faith with education that aims to teach and form the whole human person. Angela hopes to bring the joy of the Gospel into her classroom as a teacher at SMG. Her desire is for every student to not only excel academically and personally but to ultimately feel seen, known, and loved by Jesus. She understands the honor and privilege it is to be entrusted with young hearts and is so blessed to help raise up future saints at St. Maria Goretti!
