Courtney Jablonski began working at St. Maria Goretti in 2021.
Courtney was raised on a dairy farm near Ellsworth, Wisconsin. She attend UW-Madison and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Art Education. Subsequently, Courtney was hired by the Verona Area School District and served as the Kindergarten-5th grade art teacher. Following that position, she worked at Arthouse Preschool in Waunakee, Wisconsin, first as a lead preschool teacher and then as the Arts Coordinator and Educator for the Art, Music, and Spanish Program.
The desire to be at home with a growing family motivated her to become a stay-at-home mom. During that time, Courtney committed a portion of her time to serving Pregnancy Helpline of Madison as the Phone Volunteer Coordinator, which enabled her to work from home while allowing her opportunities to provide material help, hope, and emotional support to families and mothers in our community.
Courtney and her husband, Jack, are current members of SMG. They have four children, Joachim, Augustine, Kierian, and Azélie, who all attend St. Maria Goretti Catholic School.
Courtney's passion for art education has been driven by being able to provide students with opportunities to connect to others, to see the world in different ways, and to give back to the community. She is thrilled to connect these creative opportunities to the Catholic faith at SMG.
