Dorene Pawlowski began working at St. Maria Goretti in 2022.

She grew up in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Dorene attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and met her husband, Jim.

She has experience teaching 2nd and 3rd grades. Once starting a family, she stayed home to raise her five children. After their youngest started 1st grade, she returned to teaching.

If her free time, Dorene enjoys spending time with her husband and children, Jenna (22), Anna (20), Carson (17), Ben (15) and Katie (11). They enjoy biking, taking walks with their dogs, and playing board games.

She is excited to journey along with the 2nd graders, especially as they prepare for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
