Hannah Markin began teaching at St. Maria Goretti in the fall of 2024. Last year, she served as our middle school English and History Student Teacher Intern.
Hannah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the spring of 2024 with a degree in elementary education and special education. Throughout college, Hannah worked as a behavioral therapist technician for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; she got to see first hand the beauty in all areas of education.
Hannah grew up in Madison. She was raised Catholic and has remained faithful to the Church and all Her teachings both personally and professionally. During college, she was the president of the student-led organization, Warhawk Catholic, for two years.
Having the opportunity to shape young hearts to be more like the heart of Jesus is one of her passions at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School.
