Hailed as a “Mellifluous Mezzo,” Mezzo Soprano Kirstin is a versatile singer and voice/beginning piano instructor in Wisconsin and virtually. Ms. Roble holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Luther College. She is a current student of Dr. Connie Haas. Previous instructors include Dr. Bill Lavonis and Dr. Krisanne Weiss.
Ms. Roble is a busy performer of sacred, choral, recital, opera, and musical theatre. Most recently, she has been seen in concerts and productions with Madison Savoyards, Opera on Tap- Wisconsin, Belle Ensemble, and Madison Opera. Some of her favorite roles include Floßhilde (Das Rheingold,) Zerlina (Don Giovanni,) Dritte Dame (Die Zaüberflöte,) Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro,) and Third Water Sprite (Rusalka.) She is also active as a concert soloist, having recently performed the Alto solos in Messiah (Handel,) Lord Nelson Mass (Haydn,) Gloria (Vivaldi,) Coronation Mass (Mozart,) and Magnificat(Vivaldi.)
Ms. Roble has been a member of the Madison Opera Chorus since 2017 and is also a busy musician for the Diocese of Madison and the Diocese of La Crosse. She works for several churches in the Diocese of Madison as a cantor and choral section leader. At St. Maria Goretti, she has been a cantor and Alto Choral Scholar for the Music Ministries since August 2023. She is also a member of the Diocesan Schola in Madison, a position she has held since its creation in February 2022. In Summer 2024, Kirstin joined Sacra Nova Chorale (in residence at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee, WI) as an Alto Ensemble member
Kirstin maintains a private voice and piano studio where her students have won honors in school competitions, sang leads in musicals, performed for local faith communities, and earned scholarships for their musical studies. Ms. Roble has held positions at numerous teaching studios and music schools in Wisconsin including Wauwatosa School of Music, Maestro Makers, First Stage Academy, and Beloit College.
Outside of teaching, Kirstin is a proud dog and cat mom, enjoys reading extensively, hunting for great finds at thrift stores and yard scales, practicing German, and working toward pointe and other dance goals in several weekly ballet classes at BalletU in Verona.
