Laura Pfahler

Laura grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is still considered “home”. She attended Catholic schools for her education. She attended the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, a Catholic university known for creating strong communities of faith and fellowship. While attending UD, Laura met her husband, Wayne. They moved to Madison after graduating and joined the SMG Parish, with the eventual hope to send children to the school. 

Laura first taught PreK at St. Peter’s in Ashton for 2 years, but most recently has taught PreK for the Verona School District for 7 years. She loves to see the growth that happens at this early age for students. As a teacher, she strives to create a community and a love for learning in the classroom. 

Laura and Wayne have 3 children that attend SMG. She enjoys taking vacations to new places, reading books, cooking, and watching the variety of sports that her children play.
