Tyler Pimm has served St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and School as the Director of Music since 2023.
His responsibilities include liturgical music planning, playing organ for all sung Masses, and directing three choral ensembles: the St. Maria Goretti Choir (adult mixed choir), Schola Cantorum (chant group), and the Choristers (after-school youth choir). In addition, he teaches general music Grades 4-8, where students learn about the rich musical traditions of the Church, and become equipped and empowered to participate fruitfully in her liturgy.
Tyler holds a Master of Music in Composition and a Bachelor of Music in Theory & Composition from Northern Illinois University and University of Minnesota Duluth, respectively. He is currently finishing up a second master's degree in Organ Performance from Arizona State University.
He and his wife, Selene, reside in Waunakee and have one daughter, Áster María.
